Welcome to Stonehouse 13
Stonehouse 13 was born from a lifelong fascination with the beauty of the natural world. Things shaped by earth, time, pressure, and a little bit of magic.
Founded by artisan jeweler Jennifer Shinn, Stonehouse 13 is a Lexington, Kentucky-based jewelry studio rooted in the belief that jewelry should feel personal. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted using precious metals, pearls, gemstones, and natural materials selected for their beauty, character, and individuality.
The aesthetic lives somewhere between raw and refined. Organic forms paired with fine materials, luminous pearls with unexpected details, and gemstones that are celebrated for what makes them different rather than perfectly uniform. Many pieces are one of a kind or created in small batches, allowing the materials themselves to guide the design.
Unearthed
Stonehouse 13 is also home to Unearthed, a curated collection of exceptional mineral and gemstone specimens sourced for their natural beauty, rarity, color, formation, and presence.
From sculptural statement specimens to smaller treasures meant for a shelf, desk, or bedside table, each piece is selected individually. These are not simply decorative objects, they are pieces of the earth’s history, formed over millions of years and completely impossible to replicate.
Some are chosen because they are extraordinary. Some because they are beautifully imperfect. And some simply because they are too damn good to leave behind.
Whether worn or displayed, everything at Stonehouse 13 shares the same philosophy:
Natural. Unexpected. One of a kind.
Jewelry made by hand.
Treasures shaped by the earth.
Stonehouse 13.
